Went to the Trop Gun shop last night about 4 pm and overheard a customer and two Trop employee's talking about the Dickson City incident.

According to the one employee, He didn't know what "those a**holes are trying to prove" in regards to open carrying in resturants. He didn't know "why the f**k they have to walk around with their guns OC, and that they are just looking to have cops mess with them." That they are "just gonna ruin it for everyone by doing that." The customer said he had read about it on OC.com

I had gone there because I was told that they had really good prices on a Kimber Defender .45acp.

When the guy working in the pistol section asked if I wanted to look at something, I told him yeah, I did, but had changed my mind since those "Your buddies" (other people working there) "seem to think I'm a a**hole since I open carry sometimes."

Guess I'll just have to pay a bit more, but then again Gander Mountian has a "match the price" policy I didn't know about, that I found out yesterday, where they will match someone else's price on a new gun.

So what did the guy say in response to your statement that you won't do business with them due the OC bashing?

I understand they have a taxidermist there too, wonder what their thoughts are on OC?

Heh, anyone want a taxidermist who likes OC? HereI am!

I would criticize this as blatant commercialism; but I know better than to anger a woman who knows how to delicately skin mammals!! :):D

He wasn't the one talking the trash, he was in the back at the pistol area. But it's pretty obvious due the amount of long guns compared to the pistols what the clientel is they cater too....

The Taxidermist is in the basement of the building, never made it down there . . . LOL I only kill paper and steel anymore since I got shot squirrel hunting, guy thought my boot was a squirrel he said . . . . can't fix stupid I guess
