I wanted to go down to the Oly pit today. I shoot my 9 and .22 regularly but haven't shot my 870 in years. I was planning on going to the pit today and was hoping that it wouldn't be this rainy. ARGH!

Hey, where is the warm then?

BTW, I saw your book at the local range so I'm going to head over and pick one up. I figured it would be a good rainy day read. :D

Wussy..

No reason why you can't shoot in the rain.

Or are you only planning on defending yourself on bright/sunny days?

Gun gets wet? clean it, you're supposed to anyway.

You guys are lucky it's only the weather. Our range is closed every weekday from 8 to 5 for maintenance for the next two MONTHS. That's basically the whole summer. ARRRRGHH

I know a place west of Shelton that is for sure open to shoot any and everyday.
Well, don't keep it a secret.
Out the Shelton-Matlock Road to Matlock and then west on the Deckerville Road into Grays Harbor Countywhere Deckerville turns into Boundary Road to Kelly Road. Right on to Kelly Road to the third gravel road on the left, just past the abondoned Rail Road crossing. Go to the Canyon River Reload andfollow the road to the south. Go 1/2 mile and the shooting area is on the right. You can't miss it.
Chances are, without a guide you still won't find it.
