I lived in Avoyelles Parish (Bunkie/Hessmer) from 81 to 97. I still visit my mom regularly there too.

That said, I've never heard or seen any complaints are restrictions (Besides the Normal) for OC anywhere.

Before they banned weapons in schools, students had them hanging in there rear windows as usual.

I know quite a few who open carry, a couple that carry inside banks, just b/c they are loyal, older, known citizens.

John Bordelon (73) OC anywhere he damn well pleases

Van Kojis (68) Same as Above.

I've never heard any kind of restricitions outside the norm.

The only thing to be mindful of is the tribal land at Marksville, but I don't think they care one way or the other. I've read the Tunica-Biloxi website and couldn't find anything about guns, and I know there's nothing posted about guns at the casino or hotel. There is one small "consent to enter" notice, but that's at the entrance to the daycare.

Thanks to all who have answered my inquiry. KB---I have been on the Tunica-Biloxi "Tribal land" before the thought of a casino ever entered into one's head used to bow hunt thereas a kid and young adultbut that was back in the last century! I'm fairly familiar with the Marksville area as I have been going there since I was knee-high to a duck. However other than hunting with long arms in that area I've never "carried."
