As many of you probably already know from my previous posts, I am a security guard. I recently began carrying a Glock 22 as my duty weapon, but I'm still carrying it in the holster that I was carrying my previous duty weapon in. I am looking for a holster preferably level III (level II will do, but prefer level III), preferably either polymer (such as the Blackhawk Serpa holsters or the Uncle Mike's EVO[sup]3[/sup]) or Nylon (Uncle Mike's Pro 3). Even the Safariland Raptor holsters with the SLS and rotating hood would do fine. My question is does anyone know of any websites that sell level III duty holsters for bargain prices?

check the usual places, Midway USA, Cheaper than dirt, galls(at times they have bargains) and even gunbroker. Most people don't think about gunbroker, but many times you can find great holsters for about half the price.

I just decided to bite the bullet and went to the local gun store and purchased a Level III Serpa. Because I wore my security uniform they gave me a 15% discount. Including tax, the price should have been $107, but I only paid a little more than $93. I can say that I am happy with my purchase. It was money well spent and it was worth it. Next, I'll be looking to replace my double mag pouch with one that will hold two Glock 22 magazines. Most likely, it will be one by Blackhawk.

I'm a security guard as well and I use the Blackhawk Serpa for my companies Glock 17 9mm and have the Blackhawk Serpa Paddle for my OC off-duty wear.
