By open carrying you educated the public DAILY that guns are not bad, that guns do belong in the hands of civilians, and that it's LEGAL for non cops to carry.
Standing up for a right will never be easy. Just ask the gay and lesbians of the past 20 years.
Citizens stand up and declare "I have this right!" subjects slink in the corners and hide hoping not to be noticed.
For every liberal pansy I annoy I educated and inspire 2 Citizens.
I'm willing to take the flack to do that. The question is Why aren't you?
+1 GeorgiaBII nailed it.I think this is possibly the best post ever made

a charming group of gentlemen to be sure:shock:jeez, that topic is really going down the drain....
Started out not to bad, then started looking like the trolls from democraticunderground.com raided the place...:uhoh:
If they lived in Maryland, NJ, or one of the other socialist enclaves , they would feel the pain I feel every waking minute, the pain of not being legally able to even carry concealed because the gov't thinks cash is more important than life, and that the lives of ruthless criminals are more important than those of the peaceful law abiding. We have lawmakers who stuff self defense bills in their desks so they never get voted on, and who publicly say things like " I just don't get it, why would anyone need to carry a concealed weapon around?". And yet MD is one of the most crime ridden states. There is one word to sum up why someone would need to carry a deadly weapon on them in this state, the word is "Baltimore".Bulldog1967 wrote:
Yeah. Even though it's a gun board, there are still people spouting the anti's talking points.
And some naive people who don't have a clue how right-to-carry became enacted in their states. They take the fact they can get a license for granted. Perhaps they are too young to remember the time 20+ years ago when only a handful of states had right-to-carry. And they surely aren't aware of the hard work that has gone on to change that.

That's nice, but it doesn't change the fact that OC is not viewed favorably by the police nor the sheeple in Seattle
