i seen alot of topics saying if you open carry make sure you have a copy of this and that in case a officer bother you for open carry. where do i get this from? i will like to make a copy of the law and keep it with me and my car..thanks

There is no part in the law that states open carry is illegal, and that is what makes it legal. Laws tell us what we can not do, but they aren't made to tell us the things we can. Find the pertinent information you think may help you in a situation with the police, but the way to use the statute is to challenge the cop to show you where OC is illegal. When you get to the part about going armed to the terror of the public, realize that all the criteria are met in order to be charged. Please keep in mind that the police are sometimes misinformed, and it is our duty to educate the misinformed. Should he choose to become hostile, simply keep your cool and ask what law you have broken and are you free to go. Cops will sometimes try to push you into disturbing the peace, but you have to be smarter than them.
