    I read this article, which is linked from the Open Carry home page:

    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worl...in-public.html

    "Their right to wear their gun, usually on a holster at their hip, as they go about their day is protected in state laws that override any constitutional ruling in the US capital, they claim." :shock:

    Nobody's making that calim, as far as I know. Apparently, they don't quite understand the US legal system.
    Guns don't kill people. Drivers on cell phones do.

    Keep in mind.. these are the British. Not exactly a nation of freedom loving people.

    In the final seconds of your life, just before your killer is about to dispatch you to that great eternal darkness, what would you rather have in your hand? A cell phone or a gun?

    I would say they wrote that exactly opposite of the way most 2A advocates would say it.

    It should read;
    "Their right to wear their gun, usually on a holster at their hip, as they go about their day is protectedby the Constitution in spite ofanylaws in the US to the contrary, they claim."

    That matter was brought up in the thread the story link was posted in.
    Bob Owens @ Bearing Arms (paraphrased): "These people aren't against violence; they're very much in favor of violence. They're against armed resistance."
