I voted in favor of allowing guns in airports. At 8:19 EDT, the the poll was 53 FOR, 47 Against (17,645 votes.)

This is why I would carry inside ATL.

QUOTE FROM THE ARTICLE: Atlanta Mayor Shirley Franklin said citizens can't bring guns into the terminal and argued that airports remain attractive targets for terrorism. UNQUOTE emphasis mine.

So "Mayor" Franklin, you seem to prefer unarmed victim zones so the terrorists, who you already admit consider ATL to be an attractive target, can freely shoot until police arrive, which can take several minutes?

I prefer to be armed so if, god forbid, I was in the middle of a terrorist attack at ATL, I would be able to instantly start returning fire.

Mayor Franklin, your statement qualifies you for the Anti-Second Amendment Idiots Hall of Fame. Welcome!
