Met up with a friend tonight at the Eatern Buffet (chinese type food) in Merchant's Walk shopping center on Broad Street. Dinner was under $10 as long as you do not go for the crab legs.No okra or Mexican stuff seen, so ought to be OK for hlh & grapeshot. Oh, did I mention they are OC-friendly? They are!
If we are thinking meat & potatoes stuff, there are O'Charley's locations on 3 out of 4 sides of town (S, near-W & farther-W). For just plain meat there is Buzz & Ned's on Boulevard, just N of Broad Street.
Anybody know of a seafood place that is OC-friendly (besides LJS or Cap'n D's)?
Is anybody interested in a Pho party? Pho79 on Staples Mill is good.
How about a bit upscale - CanCan in Carytown is good, not too expensive, and OC-friendly. Plus, there is a great chocolate shop about 4 doors down in the same shopping center, with perhaps the best chocolate-covered apricots in town.
The Crazy Greek is OK, but not really that much offered on the menu that is Greek food. Also not a lot of parking available.
