Hi everyone. Well I'm new here and I'm wondering if there is anyone thats OC'ing in Pacifica or Daly City? Any experiences with LEOs or the public eye? Any specific City laws or regulations I should be aware of?

Welcome Haymaker!!

You might be the first from there. Local ordinances, if they exist, concerning hand guns are generally pre-empted as the state legislature has very fully legislated on the carrying, loading, sales, transfer, etc... of handguns.

Read the brochures I just bumped and you'll be on you way to understanding the codes. But always read the full text of the law, not just our cliff notes.

Thousands of hours of OC have been clocked by members here with only about a half dozen LEO encounters. All but one ended in the OCers walking away wth LEO being a little more educated on the topic.

One guy in So Cal was just ticketed for misdemeanor loaded carry (his mags were separate and gun was not loaded). It has yet to go to court and the guy has the NRA's attorney on the case so I expect it will go away soon, but no word as of yet. He did not actually violate the law so I don't see this as a test case for 12031's constitutionality:(.
