After finishing a movie I was confronted and asked if I was police, which I responded I was just a regular person. They said I couldn't have a gun in the theaters as a matter of company policy, and that one of the people working there had even been fired for having a CCW permit.

This is the third place that has taken an issue.

So far in Reno, I've only had problems at Costco, Longs Drugs, and now Cinemark. Costco and Cinemark have anti-gun corporate policies. Longs drugs might have just been the local management.

Oh yeah, this was the second time I went there. The first time I went I had no problems whatsoever.

Edit: Also as a clarification I'm not totally sure whether the guy they said was fired was fired for carrying or having the permit.

OC is going to be met with resistance.

A quote from Karen Fraley's e-mail to me:

Businesses can, of course, regulate whether firearms are permitted
within their businesses."

There's nothing that can be done about that. It's unfortunate, but they can do it.

Indeed. I believe I said that Century Theatres may be a problem. I was an employee there and the policy was no weapons on the property. Riverside is also the strictest theatre in terms of security and such, since the entrance to both the theatre and the actual movie rooms is easy to watch.
