Is there any place that you won't/don't OC?

Bear, if I hadn't clicked on that link I would have thought you were nuts, advocating wearing suspenders AND a belt. That's usually a major wardrobe no-no, but in the case of these it makes sense. Also, a lot of LEO's use them. Maybe I could add a pouch for cuffs, and a few for extra mags, and one for a taser.

Interestingly, I had just gotten on this idea as a diver and bought a harness weight belt when I had to quit diving for medical reasons. That was a few years ago and I had forgotten about the concept.

One thing about using these, though: If I made myself concpicuous by OC'ing, these suspenders would REALLY make it obvious.

They also make custom holsters very reasonably with any configuration you want. They made the holster for the quad tank bags for the wife and I and installed the mounting system on the bags too. Only $30 for each bag and holster. The majority of their business is with cops and PDs. I wear the suspenders in the house and the few place I don't carry, still never had a comment except once in a gun store and I had my Dysfunctional Veteran hat on and he ask if anyone had ever had a problem with the hat and the gun together. He was a Shelton Detective that I didn't know, until then.

Let me second the recommendation of Orca; they're great.

Apparently at one time they made holsters etc for retail sale, because the guys at Bulls Eye in Tacoma showed me one when I was looking for an IWB holder for my S&W 915. So Bulls Eye just sent them some notes as to the exact model of gun I had along with their holster number, and in a couple weeks ended up with an exact perfect fit.

I looked up the site on Bear's recommendation but all I saw was the thing on the suspenders. Nothing about holsters at all. Is this something they only do on special order?

Call the guy and make an order. They will even mail the finished product to you. I like to make an appointment andgo down and talk to him about what I want exactly. Then he makes it while I wait, never been dissatisfied. Beside I get to do lunch at the Country Cousin in Centralia.:D

I do and have never once been asked to leave.
Please note that Bravo_Sierra shows Las Vegas as his location. If you carry in a Las Vegas Hotel the chances of being asked to leave approach 100%. Most of them have Casinos and they don't want any guns if they can avoid them. Concealed is hard to spot but OC is a dead giveaway to Casino Security.

Since we only have Indian Casinos in Washington and I don't ever go into the casino it is not and issue for me. I haven't been in Vegas since 1972 when I was stationed there of a year. Fun place to visit, but to damned expensive living there for a lowly Buck Sgt with a family.

Strip clubs. Gets in the way

Lol Primus!
Didn't even bother to use the PC term ("gentleman's club") either.:D

I'll add my bit to this 5-and-a-half year necro-resuscitation: I don't carry on campus (U of A in Tucson) because we sign their unconstitutional agreement to abide by their rules in exchange for being there.:(
I also don't OC in bars (seeing as I can't walk in unless I get a government permission slip).

Whoops, I didn't see the bolded part:

Is there any place that you won't OC (excluding those prohibited by law, private property rules (e.i. business), or employer rules)? If so, do you CC there or not carry at all?

So the only one might be at church. The higher-ups (including the Big Guy upstairs and his son; no relation to the OCDO forum member by the same name:D) have stated that it is within my Rights, and acceptable, for me to carry in church. I sometimes CC, but they never specified nor hinted at me only being allowed to CC and it gets hot in there, so I usually OC.
There was opposition by a few holier-than-thou hypocrites in the flock, but the higher-ups (excluding the Big Guy and his son, of course) made a statement that basically was a tactful way of saying "no one is forcing you to do the same, so what is your problem?".
Now I'm just shunned by the members who have an irrational fear of firearms and expect God to always provide for their safety, despite His words in the book of Revelations (among other places):banghead:. Helped my family realize who our real friends are among the congregation.:)

Open carry everywhere I can legally, only been asked twice to "leave my gun in the car." I boycotted those businesses instead. Overwhelmingly positive reactions.
