Absolutely right. If you don't leave, then you are guilty of "armed tresspass," which is a felony, not to mention, not nice.

Before I got my OCHL, I opened carried, and was asked if I had a gun permit. Told them yes--figured that as the law permitted me, I had a permit.

Unless it is a LEO, I will answer with "I am legally allowed to open carry this weapon." I won't specifically say I have a 'permit'. In the end I will always abide by law, asked to leave or remove weapon.. but will use every opportunity to educate the masses..
