Hasn't it been 30 days since the mayor announced that new regs would be implemented in 30 days?

I wonder if someone got to him and actually explained the law in the state of Washington regarding preemption.

Why is this misconception still out there? The Mayor's executive order directed his department head to come up with a way to outlaw firearms from city property. He did not outlaw weapons at all in the directive. So far there are no new regs anywhere.

Stop over-parsing things, Bear. I just found it interesting that he directed city departments to get back to him within 30 days, and that 30 days had passed, and no further information had come out.

I would expect since the AG has been asked for an opinion, by both parties for that matter, that the Mayoris waiting for that opinion because as things stand now state law clearly say he can't do it and he knows it. He's just hoping that the AG gets stupid or something in the mean time. What part of:

"Hasn't it been 30 days since the mayor announced that new regs would be implemented in 30 days?"

did I misinterpret?

No where does it says anything about the department heads coming up with new regs? He claims the mayor announced new regs, which is false and I only told the truth because he is not the only one thinking that the new regs started in 30 days. I didn't over-parsing anything.Besides if you don't like my wording just don't read it. I said nothing that isn't the truth.
