    I love this gun! I am going to buy the XDM 40 this weekend, but I really would prefer a 45 over a 40 for my carry piece. Does anyone know when the 45 will come out for the XDM series?

    It's ok. I have several other firearms to add to my collection. I can wait a bit for an XDM 45.

    Well I contacted SA, and Vickie Baele replied back with this;

    At this time the XD(M) is in black or bitone only other calibers might be but will be next Year.
    Won't comment on the grammar, but that's their answer.

    Holy crap -- that would be double-speak backwards talk even for Barack Obama or Ted Kennedy.

    Don't forget John McCain, may as well include the whole lot right?
