    I would like to start a thread for new people that may not know all the Acronyms that OpenCarry users / law enforcement uses to help them in reading some of the posts. I will edit it as people add ones that I miss or correct me. I hope it helps.

    OC = Open Carry
    CC = Concealed Carry
    MWAG = Man With A Gun
    LEO = Law Enforcement Officer
    SGT = Sargent
    2A = 2nd Amendment
    4A = 4th Amendment
    5A = 5th Amendment
    AG = Attorney General

    IWB = Inside Waist Band Holster

    OWB = Outside Waist Bang Holster

    FTF = Failure To Feed

    FTE = Failure To Eject

    SD = Self Defense

    ROFL = Rolling On Floor, Laughing
    DNP = Do Not Patronize
    SHTF = S**t Hits The Fan (Implying the breakdown of society, such as the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina)
    SOB = Small Of the Back (used in context to location of carry, otherwise, you should probably take it colloquially)
    CQC = Close Quarter Combat
    CQB = Close Quarter Battle

    FTF can mean both "Failure To Fire" and "Failure To Feed" in addition to the aforementioned "Face To Face" when dealing with business.

    RCW = Revised Code of Washington (these are the laws that govern firearms in the state, specificially section 9.41)

    A1S24 = Article 1, Section 24 of the Washington State Constitution (The right to keep and bear arms of the individual citizen in defense of himself, others or the state)

    DA - Double-Action; (or District Attorney)
    SA - Single-Action
    SA/DA - A firearm with both Single and Double-Action characteristics
    DAO - Double-Action Only
    DOA - Dead On Arrival
    YMMV - Your mileage may vary
    IIRC - If I recall correctly
    AFAIK - As far as I know
    IBTL - In before thread lock
    OT - Off topic
    OP - Original post(er)
    WWCD - What would Chuck (Norris) do?
    CCW - Concealed Carry Weapon
    CPL - Concealed Pistol (W - weapon; H - handgun) License (P - permit)
    RKBA - Right to Keep and Bear Arms
    PC - Probable Cause; Politically Correct
    BS - (still has it's original meaning)
    TEOTWAWKI - The end of the world as we know it (catastrophic breakdown of order)
    FFL - Federal Firearms License (gun dealer)
