We are now running on a new, and hopefully much-improved, server. In addition we are also on new forum software. Any move entails a lot of technical details and I suspect we will encounter a few issues as the new server goes live. Please be patient with us. East Chicago is next to hammond and gary basically. Like gary, I never have a need to go into east chicago for anything, so thats a no from me.

Like Promethius, I don't have any business there, so at best would be traveling through on the interstate (as rapidly as legally possible). East Chicago ain't exacly the most desirable of spots to visit and sports a reputation similar to Gary. No offfense to anyone living there. Just observations from a longtime Hoosier.
OC could be a challenge there as Cops are likely looking to squelch anything other than sheeple behavior due to the 'rough neighborhoods' found there. Dressing neat and tidy could go a long way there.
If Tattedupboy doesn't chime in here, you may want to PM him, as he is from Gary.

So, even though I don't have an actual documented case oflaw abiding citizensbeing mistreated, these are the reasons you hardly ever see it being done there. Just a fact.
