Utah concealed firearm permit class - August 16, 2008

We have just a few seats left for this class, if anyone is interested. The July class sold out and we're close on this one. Class is Saturday, August 16 from 12 noon - 5pm and the cost is $79.95.

Yes it does.

Since this is a firearms training course taught by a certified NRA instructor, it meets this proof of competancy requirement of the Code of Virginia -

18.2-308 F (7) - 7. Completing any firearms training or safety course or class conducted by a state-certified or National Rifle Association-certified firearms instructor.

At the end of the class, you will get a certificate for successful completion of a course titled "Utah concealed firearm permit course" and the cert will have the signature and instructor number of the NRA instructor teaching the class. Just photocopy that and submit with your Virginia application.

Cool, thanks for the reply. My girlfriend is in need of her coursework for the VA CHP so this would be a 2 for 1. I'll be signing her up shortly and recommending the class to a friend who is looking to get his CHP as well.

Tell your friend to sign up quickly if they wish to take this Utah class. We only have a few seats left and I think that they'll be gone after this weekend. Our next Utah class won't be until September.
