Really? What is your story of a cop telling you how to perform? And before you tell anyone they have a room temp IQ maybe you should use the spell check.

I strongly stand behind my OC right, but statements like you made do not help us.

Again, call all the BS you want, you weren't there for one. I wasn't a member of this forum until the day i posted about it either, neither had I ever been on here. So, how about trying to be considerate of people you don't know thanks have a GREAT DAY:monkey

OK then what steps are you taking? Whowere the officers? Why did you wait 2 weeks? Maybe you can see my point as well. People who have come to this site with real issues have taken action right away. Shown what that action was and posted letters email phone records etc. I dont see that here. I dont sense the urgency that I have seen from those who have had real issues.

Much as I thought. Hot air with no substance. Not appropriate? Really and why would that be? Because you do not have any? Because you have some ungrounded fear of the legal system?

If you have an opinion thats fine, but to come to a public forum and make claims and not back them up is just not helping anyone.

His superiors unfortunately will agree with his stupid decision. However, some calls have to be made!

Not exactly ignore but the LEO doesn't have to treat you like a criminal until proven innocent, especially since you both were probably walking casually and your G/F wasn't acting in distress. The LEO's should still treat situations like that professionally and humane. There moto is "Protect and Serve" Not "Protect and Assume"

The problem is that sometimes some genius from California calls saying "a man with a gun is about to rob the gas station"... That is you and me open carrying to get our soda.... Next a rookie cop that just graduated from a socialist state college, after finishing a communist public high school shows up.... This cop the first time he saw a gun in the academy probably had an accidental discharge (in his/her pants). Then they were sent to counseling to get in touch with their feminine side and were told it is o.k. to be scared and be dilusional.... Our forum is excellent since it educates law enforcement on the laws and helps departments develop ways to answer this B.S. "person with a weapon" calls without infringing on our rights.

Email is a wonderful thing.

But I would recommend sending a formal, typewritten letter via the U. S. Post Office.

If you get no reply, you can then write to inquire if it is their official policy to disregard correspondence from a resident citizen - with a copy to the county commissioners, etc, etc.

If it is the same email you sent me then it is full of spelling errors and grammar problems.

I would also say that if this was a true encounter that went down as yoda says they contact the people who run this forum. They have helped others. I am still not sure all this really went down as posted.
