Outdoor shooting range

I want to take my 13 year old nephew out shooting, but the range I go to, has a 14 and older limit for handguns.

Does anyone know of a place near spokane (within 2 hours drive) preferably outdoor
(free) that i can take him?

And could someone give me directions on how to get there, i'm looking to go on sunday, after the oc meet up.

Two hours drive? Got ya covered. Come on down to the Tri-Cities. Our public range is five bucks a day for non-members, and we've got a nice plinking range with reactive targets. Lots of youngsters and a great crew of range safety officers to keep the place safe and running smoothly.

What range is that? I wasn't aware of any restrictions like that at any of the Spokane ranges.


If he really get interested in shooting sports, the Spokane Rifle Club has a very active (and good) Jr. Rifle Team.

Sharpshooters in spokane is the place i usually go.
