It has been suggested that a new/fresh post of this be entered. It may require more advance planning for some of you due to the distance. I wouldn't be surprised to see more than a few stay overnight - so advance motel reservations might be in order.

Members from Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia and perhaps other states are anticipated to attend.

Multi-State OC Lunch & Meet Up
WHEN: Saturday, September 13th, 11am.
WHERE Red, Hot & Blue (Blues and BBQ)
ADDRESS: 541 E Market St, Leesburg, VA 20176, (703) 669-4242
MAP: Google Map

Be sure to RSVP if you haven't: http://www.deloc.org/deloc/rsvp.php

There's an option to say that you might be going.

This sounds like a blast! I'll have to check with the State of Maryland to see if I'm permitted as a citizen of Maryland to attend a gun-related event in another State, outside of their control.I hope I get a permission slip! I may have to be escorted to the MD/VA border though...:D

I'll be there as long as I get over the wall, past the barbed wire, beyond the police check points, and through the metal detectors leaving the state! I will be there :D

I spend so many weekends in Virginia that I have become too accustomed to coming back to Maryland and disarming myself at the border...it’s sad. However, as soon as this house in MD sells, we’ll be moving to Virginia. I was born and raised in Hampton Roads, the Marine Corps took me all over the country, and now it's far past time to go back home...and out of the People's Republic of Maryland.

I’m trying to pull as many folks that I know from Maryland to attend the multi-state function in September. I might even get a few to jump onto OCDO.

I've been a card-carrying member of the VCDL sincelast year:). I figured that as much I travel to Virginia, I should stick with those in the know to stay informed and up to date.

Did I meet you at the VCDL picnic perhaps. In any event, a number of us will be at the Leesburg lunch and after - who knows?

No, I have yet to make it to an event in Virginia yet, but I have already cleared the calendar for the multi-state event. I hope to catch a Va OC lunch or dinner before that though.
