Ok, it's for the wrong reason (family death) but OC'ing has gone much better than expected. I'm visiting in Hopkins County and was filling the car with gas when a Deputy pulled up, lowered the window and asked "are those Pachmayr Grips on that 1911?" I replied yes they are. His reply "they look damn good on it." and then asked what model I carried (Para Ordinance SSP). We chit chatted a bit and then he bid me a good day. :celebrate
