I'm a member of GCO and the Georgia Packing forum, since I have some upcoming relocation plans. Yep, they're kicking butt and taking names, in Georgia. GCO is on the map as a grassroots organization! Georgia also has a good governor.

The GCO membership is the best $15 that I've ever spent.

"Restrictions on where permitted gun owners can carry weapons in public seem to be on the wane, especially since Gov. Sonny Perdue signed legislation in May allowing the state's estimated 300,000 concealed-weapons permit holders to carry in public transit, state parks and restaurants that serve alcohol."

The above is from the article in the link. I just wanted everyone to know that even though the media always says, "concealed weapons" this and that, in Georgia we have GFL's, Georgia Firearms Licenses, and as such can carry open or concealed.

I'm also a proud member of GeorgiaCarry.org! :celebrate
