Would any of you know of a decent outdoor range that allows pistol practice to the public?

The Gastonia PD has an outdoor range and it is open to the public from 1-5pm on Saturdays, but they restrict it to rifle only.

Shooter's Express is Belmont is a bit cramped and usually crowded.


I'd like a place where people are kind and the air is fresh... no rednecks, no gun nuts, preferably cops and other professionals. If I have an FTF, I don't want a group of half-wits telling me what I did wrong.

Could a place this divine really exist around here?

If you know of such a place, please let me know--even if it's in a private message.
