i purchased an after market spring that "lightens" the trigger pull on my DA only pistol. i was getting to look at for a bit and couldn't quite figure out how to get it done.

Can I ask WHY you want to engrave it like that, Tupac?
Tupac, ha.

I don't really have a reason. I just dig the 'look'. very "Cowboy-the-Eff-Up" IMO.

Dude, dude,...dudeeeeee, you know I respect the hell out of you, but no. No no no. No.
Bad for cleaning and/or unmaintainable?
More like gangsta rap or "look at me I have a Paris Hilton gun". Dude. no.
Prime example of Perception vs. Opinion vs. Intention...

You get one done up like that buddyboy, you better have a carved holster and belt to match.:D

Otherwise, it'd just be tacky.

Not sure about doing the slide only on a polymer framed gun......thinking about it, I haven't ever seen one done. Interesting.
