I was talking to a local Gunshop here in Fresno. Then the issue of haveing the proper bullets came up. I said what do you mean about carrying proper ammo? Because of the fairly newCalifornia Law (Ridley-Tree Condor Preservation Act ) ,There are now no lead zones . It was said that even carrying Lead ammo into these Zones, can have the action of a 500.00 Dollar fine and confiscation of your weapon.

My questions are these:

Does a individual have to have lead free ammo when they carry when living or traveling through these zones?

What is the Real Truth to this and has anybody heard this before?

Funny... I thoought you weren't allowed to use steel-core ammo either. Which if you can't use lead or steel, i guess there's just dupleted uranium or depleted plutonium left.
