Ok, everyone who has a 7.62mm rifle who wants to organize a shoot? Probably enough Mosin Nagant, SKS and AK owners here to have a special "soviet section" as well.

I know this was talked about once before, but let's try and ressurect the idea!

You forgot CETME's, AR-10's, M1 Garand's, and M1A's... to name a few.

Edit: and who could forget "The long arm of the Free World"... the FAL.

Too bad I'm leaving town in 3 days... I'd love to take my Mosin and SKS out.

Well let me spend an hour or so listing every 7.62 rifle...

And where did this whole Greener thing come from?:D
I'll give you one guess where it came from.

I'm in. I just have to pick up some more ammo.

FYI - I just had my first ruptured case in my Nagant. The issue was that the "receiver tang screw" was loose (7.5 turns needed to snug it up). Once the tang screw was tightened the shot groups tightened up as well.

Are we 7.62x51 guys invited as well, or are you talking about 7.62x39 only?

Two of sv's 7.62s are of the 54 sort, so yes anything with 7.62 will qualify. You should know that these greeners haveno ability to discriminate.

You not only live in Olympia as JAC says but you live on a boat in a marina that at one time had more greeners percapita that Evergreen State. Besides you better not bitch to much about the greener tag or we just might tell everyone about your other new nickname planeted on you by joeroket the other night.

So when are you gonna change your avatar to the little "tree hugger" guy?

Anyone with an idea where we are going to have this shoot at?
Well there is the pit. But I know a lot better place a ways northover by the Mason County Grays Harbor line that is real private and not near that kind of mess and no AtVs either. Steve has been there before. When my Marlin/Levergun guys meet to shoot there, we usually meet at the Shelton Denny's for breakfast then head out from there. Non-breakfast types just meet in the Parking lot next door about and hour after the breakfast guys do.

I am interested in shooting at the pit but I don't have a 7.62 but I can bring a friend that has an AK. Hope that counts to get me in the club.
:)
