OC in Silver Falls state park

I will be headed to Silver Falls with the family soon and wonder if I will have problems OCing here? I would apply for an non-res permit but wouldn't have it in time.

Their signs do say "NO FIREARMS" , but if you search the forum there is a post somewhere about the State Campgrounds not being able to make laws about firearms. I just CC'd while there to avoid any problems.

Well no issues durring my week at Silver Falls. They do have sinage that states no firearms but I didn't have anyone say a word. Great place to take the kids hiking!

So it has to be a "national park" to be banned such as Crater Lake? National Forest doesn't have any bearing? For example, Mount Hood National Forest is free and clear?
