IMHO Obama's saying he dose not want to take away our guns is a smoke screen for people just like Dukster and the thousand like him that are Democrat gun owners and when he signs the bills that takes the guns he will say he is doing the people's will. :cuss:

Loads of negative press these last 72 hours on the McCain/Palin Ticket, lots of negative press... Yep, afraid to say but the Palins honeymoon is over with. She is a habitual lier/fraud. Financial Markets are crumbling before your very eyes. That makes Wall Street a tad nervous and you know who's watch this melt down happened on don't you? You know Bush/Cheney. Why in the heck would any sensible person vote for McCain when he even admitted the economics never was his strong point... Also the McCain Camp have been called out and labeled as out right liers....

I kept telling you folks that you will see beforeyour very eyes the McCain Ticket do a melt down...

Rove: McCain went 'too far' in ads

It's really hard to have a discussion with all the half-truths spouted. Rove also said that the Obama campaign had gone too far with their ads distorting McCain and Palin. He had condemning words for both campaigns. It's just like the hack edit job ABC did on the Palin interview. I was rather concerned on some points until I took the time to find and read the entire unedited interview online.

The majority of the media is in the bag for Obama and it takes a lot of effort to find even most of the truth on all 4 of the candidates because of it. Fortunately, better than 50% of the public agrees on this issue and the mainstream media, by the efforts of their own biased reporting, is becoming more marginalized in this election than any since at least 1960.

Democrats, Nazi's What's the difference ?

Just like the Nazis.

Besides shameless propaganda, democrats also share many other values with the nazis:

abortion
hatred for jews
hatred for catholics
hatred for capitalism
love of socialism
love of court rule
banning guns
control of unions and medicare

and on, and on...

What would Obama say, don't really know since he is not running on an ANTI-GUN Platform.... He has bigger issues on his plate you know, like the economy and healthcare and that crazy energy thing. Imagine that, a President who will actual know how to govern unlike the current administration who couldn't govern out ofa brown wet paper bag. A President who will actually invest in our own country creating much needed jobsby rebuilding our aging infrastructure....

OBAMA / BIDEN -08
It is not the constitutional responsibilityfor the executive branch of government to be "creating jobs" and advocating national healthcare programs. That is not governing, that is enslaving...

Furthermore, not "running" on an anti-gun platform is just lessons learned from the previousGore and Kerry campaign debocles. That doesn't mean that he wouldn't sign every anti-gun bill that ever came across his desk, which by judging his votinghistory and remarks, I am inclined to believe thathe would.

Perhaps you might consider advocating a candidate that would actually adhere to their oath of office. Nobody in the two-party system that our country currently advocates are even capable of doing that, IMO.

That ridiculous voting record can be viewed clearly here - http://www.votesmart.org/voting_category.php?can_id=9490

Note = NV means - Not Voting, Excused, Absent, or Present

See how many NV's there are ?

The worst of it is that it is old news yet most people do not have a clue - and it continues - one nick (sometimes a slice) at a time.

We need to preach to those not in the choir. Teach a kid, neighbor or relative to shoot. Get more people involved. Numbers, big numbers, do make a difference.
If everybody concerned with 2nd Amend. rights brought one person into the fold each year, we would double our numbers annually.

Very True.

I'm working on my Brother-n-Law everyday.

My Wife also has a friend she is trying to get to buy a handgun so they can shoot together, and hopefully carry together when they go grocery shopping :D

If 70% of Americans believe in getting rid of semi-auto "assault weapons", then why did the democrats lose both houses of congress right after they passed the AWB?
Not quite sure what you are referring to but unless you haven't been following political news here of late the DEMS are looking at regaining control of both houses this upcoming election cycle so to answer your question, I don't know! Really don't think that is the reason they lost both houses on what miniscule issue such as what you might suggest.
One has to ask. What have the democrats done in the last year and three quarters since they gained control of the house and senate? What have they done on energy? What have they done for education? What have they done for the economy? Since they gained control, everything that should be up is down, and everything that is down should be up. I worry about the democrats and guns. Everyone should.

Why not ask for charlie or anyone else to legally define "semiautomatic assault weapons"? It always sounds really sensational but I have yet to hear a consistant legal definition of what that is! Good on you Sarah!! She really does add a huge eliment to this election and is really forcing all the candidates to address the peoples issues not the Washington insiders ideas of what the issues are.

No I am not. Fuel is to expensive to waste. Remember when Nancy Pelosi said that if we elect democrats, in the last congressional elections, they would bring prices down. What has happened since they took over. From 2.18 a gallon to 4.00. Yep, they be looking out for the little guy.;)
