From the GCO Newsletter...

It has been reported by people who work at the airport that there was a carjacking of a female worker near Sullivan Road and Riverdale Road on Friday morning. This occurred ON airport property, seeGoogle Earth (lat 33.628796, long -84.446466). So far, this had not been mentioned in the media, at least not that GCO has seen.

But you peoplego ahead and leave your gunsat home. The airport is "safe." Just ask Shirley Franklin and Ben DeCosta.

I figured the no-guns rule would attract criminals to airports the same way roaches are attracted to crumbs. This is just more proof that criminals are not stupid and will seek out victims in places where those victims can't legally be armed.

My SC legal carry permit instructor taught 'kill a carjacker when his hand breaks the plane of the window', the four elements of self-defense having been met or mooted; 1) be innocent of instigation - MET 2) be in reasonable fear of harm - MET 3) use sufficient force to deliver from evil - MET 4) attempt to withdraw - MOOTED
