I want to thank OFF for their diligance in keeping after the Port of Portland regarding them following the law.

They have finally conceded that the airport non-sterile areas are not a gun-free zone.

From what I read, the Port of Portland Police Chief has clearly stated that he will continue to enforce the illegal ordinance
The letter where he said that was dated 3/2004. The updated rules took effect 8/2008.

Did Port of Portland offer an explanation about the change? I'm just starting the process with Port of Seattle over exactly the same problem.
