    I am planning a trip to the shadow mountain region, up north az and belive it to be in .....navajo...or hopi res land.....can someone help me out with res laws please

    Contact tribal council or tribal police.

    but there use to be a list posted on the internet about the gen rules....



    no guns allowed

    guns only for CC holders

    blah blah blah..



    Im looking for that list

    You have to remember that on Indian Land... You may as well be inna foreign country. It is what it is.

    Go to www.handgunlaw.us and then the top tool bar under Indian Nations. several sections there hwve lists.

    Here's the scoop as I remember it from my CC W class:

    You must have WRITTEN permission from the tribal council to carry a firearm on reservation lands. There is an exception for traveling THROUGH reservation lands on public highways.
