First off, any gubernatorial experience requires more leadership than congressional experience. Doing "well" in Congress means that you know how to play well with others.

I also would like to see the role of president reduced to the role it was constitutionally intended. If you would read instead of troll, you'd see that my point was not to defend any presidential or vice presidential candidate, but rather to define the role of the presidency. It doesn't matter how well-versed one is in the Constitution and, judging by the comments about all of the things he wants to do ("change") that he Constitutionally doesn't have the power to do, Obama follows the Constitution no more than McCain. See, I was speaking purely in the hypothetical, since the average American dumbass (probably a good 95% or more of the population) would never vote for a president or vice president who says, "This is what I'm not going to do for you..."

Now, as long as you can find some part of the Constitution to publicly trample in order to please the ignorant electorate, you're qualified to run for office in the executive branch.

Yes I am. Running a state, even for 2 years, requires more ability that sitting in on a legislative session and voting "yes", "no", or "present" and maybe speaking every now and then. Hell, a PTA member does the same thing that Biden does.
