VA-ALERT: More News! VA/MS sign reciprocity!!!

What a day!

Tom Lambert, with the Virginia State Police, has just sent me a copy
of a new reciprocity agreement between Virginia and Mississippi!

The agreement will be posted on the VCDL web site shortly.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The agreement is BRAND NEW and is not on either the
Virginia State Police web site nor on Mississippi's site yet. I
SUGGEST **NOT** CARRYING IN MISSISSIPPI UNTIL VIRGINIA IS LISTED ON
MISSISSIPPI'S WEB SITE AS A RECIPROCAL STATE.

--

ALSO:

I just spoke with Virginia State Parks and they are evaluating the AG
opinion on open carry. FOR NOW, DO **NOT** OPEN CARRY IN VIRGINIA
STATE PARKS.

There's no added benefit for Utah permit holders as Utah and Mississippi already had reciprocity.
Wouldn't it be nice if there was no benefit for even having a Utah permit? A world where things were uniform and made sense...:banghead:

Sure there is benefit - we are covered until it official.

And what's wrong with carrying back-up? :)

Please stop trying to induce logic into something related to firearms.

Obama might accidently read this and go into a tailspin

Next thing ya know, we'll have a dripping puddle of Clueless Democrat to clean up.

This is nice for those of us who drive to Tunica to play poker every now and then:celebrate

...now if there was only some way I could carry in Maryland and New Jersey on my way to Atlantic City :banghead:

Zombie Squad has it right: “We hold fast to the belief that if you are prepared for a scenario where the walking corpses of your family and neighbors are trying to eat you alive, you will be prepared for almost anything.”

You've undoubtedly been sampling too much of the native vintage.

OC is clearly a right in Ms., so what has the OCer gained? Maybe there are some areas that you can go in Ms. with a permit that you cannot go while OCing??

I was checking the Mississippi site and they still don't show Va. on their reciprocity list. Anyone know if there is a problem or are they just very slow in updating their list.
