”The great body of our citizens shoot less as times goes on. We should encourage rifle practice among schoolboys, and indeed among all classes, as well as in the military services by every means in our power. Thus, and not otherwise, may we be able to assist in preserving peace in the world… The first step – in the direction of preparation to avert war if possible, and to be fit for war if it should come – is to teach men to shoot!”

You, sir, need to learn before you vote.

I suggest you read Obama's "10 step program to disarming america" before you vote .

Well for one I can vote for whomever I like I earned that right a few years back. I have never said I'm here to destroy your rights or anyone else's for a matter a fact. I think you should take a step back and think also why do you think I'm on this forum well Im for the second amendment hense my name also I agree almost 100% on open carry, Which I'm sure you also do to.
I think I't is pretty sad how upset people get on this site and childish and take everything as a personal attack. For Chr!$t sake people don't post opinions and and questions if you don't expect to hear what you want to hear. This is a forum and is meant for discussion not a child's playground CHUCKY CHEESE is for that if it is still around :celebrate

Please help me understand the law on this.

My local polling place is a school. As I understand it, you are not allowed to OC in a public school at all, but if you have your CFP, you can CC in the school. Is that correct?

If so, then when I go to vote, my options are CC or don't carry. Scratch that. Second one's not really an option.

Why is it that when someone has a different view then most on here they are so quickly called a TROLL? I thought this was a civilized debate. And yes, a civilized debateis a very good thing.

Someone I am sure will correct me but, if you have a CFP you can open carry in a public school. If you do not have a CFP you can not carry any guns in a gun free zone.

Thats correct without a CFP you can not be within 1000 Feet of a school. With your CFP Open carry or CC is legal. Unless you are on a private campus like byu
