Hello All

Today I arrived in Indianapolis, Carmel area from Pennsylvania.

After I was off the company clock decided to take an OC stroll up N. Meridian St

All I got was a double take from the hotel receptionist.

Went to Moe’s to get a bit to eat. Not so much as a double take.

I have a Pa LTCF and Indiana has statutory reciprocity.

If you get a chance feel free visit one of our OC forums at http://www.pafoa.org

It’s awful flat here. Where’s your hills? LOL

Woot! PA rocks!

Lived in the North Hills for a year. Still have family there, I miss PA. Yeah it is awful flat. Just be glad you aren't working up here in the NW part of the state. Winters here make PA look like North Florida.. I should know I lived there too ;)

When I go back I'm going to OC this time.

Brown County, down by Nashville. All 3 of them.

:celebrate

(Nashville is between Columbus and Bloomington, Bloomington as in Indiana University, the communist capitol of the state ).

Back in 2003 me and 2 buddies drove out to Pennsylvania for a burger. Left NWI at 7 a.m., and arrived at Denny's Beer Barrel Pub in time for dinner, before heading straight back. Couldn't see much of PA since it was dark, but I could tell it's full of good views. We even made a stop at Gobbler's Knob. No matter how nice it would be to live in such a beautiful area, I wouldn't want to drive around there in the snow. The trip was fun as hell. 1,000 miles in 24 hours, for a burger.

Ed, glad you could visit us! Be advised some cops have no clue about OC and if you are stopped, your obligation is as simple as your PA permission slip and that's all... Let us know how your trip works out.

Yep, a lot of the Central and Northern part of the state are essentially f-l-a-t. Some spots up North are so flat, you can see the curvature of the earth. Couldn't pay me to live there again. Go south and west about 25miles and you'll start to run into hills. Ahhhhh.Lots of trees...

And if you want a real challenge, go to that communist stronghold, Bloomington and OC. Not to worry too much,us rednecks got'em surrounded.

pafoa isn't the OC forum for PA, many of the members are anti-OC, including doug... who happened to enjoy slamming shefearsnothing not only on the forum but on the IRC chat. Though I'm sure opencarry.org won't have any anti-OC people... ;) Unless they're trolls from the brady bunch.
