What if you have the permission of the homeowner? Like if I'm at a friend's house and ask? Or is the only exception for YOUR property?

You need to read the statute. There are exceptions
Your home or yard
Your own place of business
hunting to protect it from weather

so on....but

someone elses property with permission is not one of them!

Would someone post the link

Sorry NOVA...I thought you were the new fellow:uhoh:

I can't tell you how many times I've read the statute. But I figured I'd ask anyway since you know how complicated laws can be, especially gun laws.

Correct me if im wrong, but from what i uderstand...

You can conceal carry with out a permit at your house and your yard.

You can carry concealed with out a permit at your jobonceinside the building, unless you're intoxicated or under the influence of illigal drugs while in a public place.

You can cover your gun when the weather gets bad, no handguns allowed during hunting unless you have a CHP/CCW

You can't carry concealed into a place that serves alcoholic beverages for on-premises consumption unless you're a cop or the owner of the place,or an event sponsor or his employees if they have a valid CCW/CHP and are on duty.

Yes

You can carry concealed with out a permit at your jobonceinside the building, unless you're intoxicated or under the influence of illigal drugs while in a public place. No - not at your "job" - Yes - you (the owner) at your place of business. Never is CC legal without a permit in a public place.

You can cover your gun when the weather gets bad, no handguns allowed during hunting unless you have a CHP/CCW Cover to protect gun while hunting. Hunting with handguns is permitted - see below.

You can't carry concealed into a place that serves alcoholic beverages for on-premises consumption unless you're a cop or the owner of the place,or an event sponsor or his employees if they have a valid CCW/CHP and are on duty.
And OK if you are a Commonwealth's Attorney - no CHP and concealed - thanks King Kaine.
