I've been carrying for about 5 years now, OC'ed a few times. Guy friend of mine also OC, mainly because he keeps forgetting his wallet.:?

But anyway, my lady friend just up and decided to carry my 1952 J-frame handed down from her mother after she passed. It nearly brought a tear to my eye, especially since I didn't even mention anything about it.

Nothing happened, no cops were called, no drama.

Who'd have ever guessed? It's gotta be a lot easier too when you are a woman.

I'm still waiting for a legitimately tough situation....although I prefer to just keep waiting. The occasional quick comment or question as to whether or not you are a cop seem relatively common but that's about it. More than anything I get either genuine curiosity or positive feedback.

I'm going to guess that a lot of people just bite their tongue and don't say anything, but want to...

OCDO member Ed has business cards made up with information on OC-ing http://opencarry.mywowbb.com/forum54/15515.html. He will share them with you for the cost of a SASE.

I carry a small stack of them with me all the time. I give out at least one just about every day. I'm waiting for the time when I give on to a LEO who is "confused" about the law on OC.

chris in va - Welcome to OCDO. I'm guessing you are here because you are more in favor of OC now. (THR reference) Glad to see you and hope you will stay.

stay safe.

Absolutely. And I've been to a couple dinners with you guys in NOVA. ;)

Ironically I'm moving to KY soon. Hopefully OC is acceptable there as well.

True. Guess I'll find out when I get there.

Oh, my friend OC'ed again tonight. She was standing in line at Sheetz and said a woman did a double take as she walked out the door.
