Sounds like fear mongering is more important than reporting facts. Also, I got the impression they reported the gunshots as fact, rather than reporting a "possible threat", which is the intent behind the early warning system.

While I don't believe WKU Police have any intent to instill fear of guns in students, they are doing a great job of it so far.
