A Scranton PA woman was arrested by her policeman neighbor for swearing....at her toilet! No wonder there are so many open carry issues with the PA cops if this is typical of how they are. How in the world do you people in PA live with all your tax dollars being wasted by open carry lawsuits, illegal gun law lawsuits and ridiculous lawsuits like this one? I am all for open carry, but with officers as stupid as this one around, I would do my best to avoid PA cops like the plague if I lived in the state.

there's more to the story than just that. LEOs in Scranton are generally very polite and professional.

Until then, Scranton police ****** up, woman was awarded $19k, life goes on.

the lesson is that when the police effect an arrest not at all supported by probable cause, civil liability lies, guns or no guns in the fact pattern.
