I had considered the buffing wheel approach, but I was actually after this look, (180grit) too keep the glare down ... I'm still considering Glass-beading the slide
with a fine Garnet media.....But then, I'd have to be careful as I don't want to remove finish from the charging grips on the slide.. I like them black to add a little contrast to it.... I don't think I'd be happy with the sandblasted finish tho ...
I'm kinda goin' for the not too bright but not too dull look .... Thanks for your Idea though ... I may just try your suggestion to see what it looks like .... and If i'm not happy with it, I'll just blast it. :lol:

Hmmm......... never thought of that one .... that would look pretty damn sharp... Maybe something in a case coloring .... or colored powder coat?
