If this is a true tale, and a real bonafide conspiracy, you can bet the Obama adminstration (if elected)is going to use this to step up the agenda inbanning privately owned weapons.

I must say though, I expected something like this. So the conspiracy was most likely real. And I strongly suspect others morons out there are going to try to get to Obama too if he wins the election. IMHO, now is not a good time for a Secret Service agent to seek out a position on the Presidential Protection assignment. Crazy people out here folks!

Let's wait to see what else comes out on this story. I'm betting these two @$$-clowns were just running their mouth (or keyboard), bragging about what they WISH they could do. "Planning" doesn't necessarily mean they actually had the means or opportunity to make good on the threat.

I don't want Obama in office either but that is certainly not the way.Impeachment when he tries to throw out the constitution. That kind of thing just gives them more ammo to go after us.

Then there were those two numbnuts here in CO that had a "plot" during the Convention. They were all hopped up on meth, and generally stupid beyond comprehension.

Oh, and your link doesn't work.

Agents seized a rifle, a sawed-off shotgun and three pistols from the men when they were arrested. Authorities alleged the two men were preparing to break into a gun shop to steal more.
Why? What did they need to get more guns for? Seriously. You only have 2 hands. I guy carries the shotgun. The other the rifle. Each gets a pistol and they can flip a coin for the spare. Load up on ammo from Cabelas or Wallyworld and head over to the tuxedo rental shop. Wait. :question:White tuxedos and tops hats? What the frack? As if wearing skinhead fasion wasn't bad enough. They are high school dropouts living in grandmas basement. They should be playing video games and going to Star Trek conventions not planning assasinations. Losers.

They will be be dressed in the latest in fashionable orange prison attire. And I hope they get put in the Black section of the prison.Maybe some of those fellows would like to have a chat with them. As much as I despise muslim terrorist etc.I have equal disdain for white supremecist skinheads. They aspire to become the very insurgents that kill innocents inIraq and Afgainistan.

Two charged in plot to kill Obama, 101 others

Two suspected skinheads have been charged in Tennessee with making threats against Democratic presidential nominee Sen. Barack Obama as the finale of a planned "killing spree" that targeted 102 blacks, 14 of whom were to be beheaded, according to court records made public Monday.

A MySpace photo shows Daniel Cowart of Bells, Tenn.

Mr. Cowart and Paul Schlesselman of West Helena, Ark., are charged with making threats against Barack Obama.

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) said Daniel Cowart, 20, of Bells, Tenn., and Paul Schlesselman, 18, of West Helena, Ark., were charged in a federal criminal complaint Friday in U.S. District Court in Memphis, Tenn., with the illegal possession of a sawed-off shotgun, conspiracy to rob a federal firearms licensee and making threats against a major candidate for the office of president.

An affidavit by ATF Special Agent Brian A. Weeks said both men "stated they would dress in all-white tuxedos and wear top hats during the assassination attempt," both noting they "knew they would and were willing to die" in an attempt to kill Mr. Obama.

"The allegations set forth in this criminal complaint are serious and will be treated as such," said Acting U.S. Attorney Lawrence J. Laurenzi. "The public can rest assured that federal, state and local law enforcement are diligently working together to investigate and prosecute the alleged activity."

The Obama campaign had no immediate comment.

According to the complaint, Mr. Cowart and Mr. Schlesselman met last month over the Internet through a mutual friend and both claimed to have "very strong beliefs regarding 'white power' and the 'skinhead' philosophy."

The complaint said they discussed going on a "killing spree" after robbing a gun shop to gather weapons and ammunition. They intended to kill 88 blacks and behead another 14. The numbers have meaning among white supremacists.

The number 14 stands for the "14 words" in an expression that has become the rallying slogan for the white supremacist movement: "We must secure the existence of our people and a future for white children."

The number 88 represents H, the eighth letter of the alphabet, and eight two times signifies "HH, " shorthand for the Nazi greeting "Heil Hitler."

If elected, Mr. Obama would be the nation's first black president.

The Tennessee arrests are not the first time law enforcement authorities have arrested men in a planned assassination of Mr. Obama. Three were arrested on the eve of the Democratic National Convention in Denver in August, although their scheme was described as "more aspirational than operational."

Friday's complaint said Mr. Cowart and Mr. Schlesselman already were in possession of a 12-gauge shotgun, a .308-caliber rifle, a .22-caliber pistol, a .25 caliber pistol that Mr. Cowart had stolen from his grandfather, and a .357-caliber Ruger revolver that Mr. Schlesselman had taken without permission from his father.

According to the complaint, Mr. Cowart traveled from Tennessee to Arkansas last week to pick up Mr. Schlesselman to carry out their plan. During the trip, they further discussed the killing spree to include targeting a predominantly black school and continue "until their final act of violence, which would be to attempt to assassinate presidential candidate Barack Obama."

"The U.S. Secret Service takes all threats against presidential candidates seriously and is actively investigating the allegations," said Richard Harlow, special agent in charge of the U.S. Secret Service field office in Memphis. "The Secret Service does not comment on this type of investigation."

The complaint also noted that the two men had planned a home invasion on Oct. 21 after soliciting a friend to drive their car, but they were diverted when they arrived at the targeted house and observed a dog and two cars at the location.

It said they then dropped their friend off at her home and went to a local retail store and purchased nylon rope and two ski masks.

"It is critical that the alleged plot was interrupted," said ATF Special Agent in Charge James Cavanaugh in Nashville, Tenn. "They said that would be their last, final act - that they would attempt to kill Senator Obama."

The two men were arrested on Oct. 22 by the Crockett County Sheriff's Office.

Obama death plot raises fears in race's final week

Two white supremacists have been arrested for threatening to kill Barack Obama in a chilling twist revealed by officials as the race for the White House headed for its final seven days. Daniel Cowart, 20, and Paul Schlesselman, 18, were arrested last week in Tennessee for possession of firearms, threats against a candidate running for president and conspiring to rob a gun store, the Department of Justice said.
The men began "discussing going on a 'killing spree' that included killing 88 people and beheading 14 African Americans," Brian Weaks, an agent with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives told a Memphis court on Monday.

"They further stated that their final act of violence would be to attempt to kill/assassinate presidential candidate Barack Obama," he added, as the two men appeared before the federal court.
The case is likely to heighten fears for Democrat candidate Obama's safety as he bids to defeat Republican opponent John McCain to become the first black US president in history in next Tuesday's elections.
He is already under secret service protection having received it much earlier in the campaign than any other presidential candidate. His campaign team declined to comment on the news.
The White House rivals were to hold competing rallies on Tuesday in the rust-belt state of Pennsylvania before splitting, with McCain fighting a rearguard action in North Carolina and Obama on the attack in Virginia.

Despite holding a robust poll lead nationally and in battleground states, Obama, 47, warned against complacency as he prepared to air a costly 30-minute "infomercial" on major US networks on Wednesday evening.
"Don't believe for a second this election is over," the Illinois senator said Monday in Pittsburgh, whose withered steelworks are symptomatic of Pennsylvania's industrial blight.
"And Pittsburgh, that's why we cannot afford to slow down, or sit back, or let up for one day, one minute, or one second in this final week," he told 15,800 supporters in the cavernous arena of the Penguins ice hockey team.
"In one week, you can choose hope over fear, unity over division, the promise of change over the power of the status quo," Obama said, his oratory returning to its early campaign heights as the electrifying race climaxes.
"We can't let up. Not now. Not when so much is at stake," he added in what aides called his "closing argument" to voters.

For McCain, Pennsylvania and its swollen ranks of disaffected, white, working-class voters is must-win territory on November 4, along with historically Republican bastions such as North Carolina and Virginia.
The Arizona senator, 72, tried to reignite fears of "socialism" by citing a 2001 radio interview given by Obama where he appeared to lament the failure of the 1960s civil rights movement to bring about greater financial equality.
"That is what change means for Barack the Redistributor: It means taking your money and giving it to someone else," he told a crowd of around 2,000 at a sports hall in Dayton, Ohio.
In Cleveland earlier, McCain said: "Today he claims he'll tax the rich; but we've seen in the past that he's been willing to hit people squarely in the middle class."

Obama's camp responded swiftly, rejecting McCain's comment over wealth redistribution as a "false, desperate attack," as the candidate tarred the Republican with the taint of President George W. Bush's economic policies.
"I can take one more week of John McCain's attacks, but this country can't take four more years of the same old politics and the same failed policies. It's time for something new," Obama said both in Ohio and Pennsylvania Monday.
The challenge facing McCain was underlined by his choice this late in the game to head to North Carolina, which has not voted for a Democratic White House hopeful since 1976 but is now a raging battleground.
Virginia is an even deeper shade of Republican "red," having last backed a Democrat for the presidency way back in 1964. But Obama has a double-digit poll lead there, and is hoping the forecasts could portend a landslide in his favor.
The Republican was to address an evening rally in Fayetteville, North Carolina, home of the vast Fort Bragg army base, as the former Vietnam prisoner of war hammers Obama as unfit to serve as commander-in-chief.
"I have fought for you most of my life, and in places where defeat meant more than returning to the Senate," McCain said in Dayton.
"There are other ways to love this country, but I've never been the kind to back down when the stakes are high."

I'm thinking maybe that's Danni Stafford, the girl named in the search warrant affadavit??

It doesn't look like a male.

Now that I have seen this search warrant affadavit, I think my hunch that the entire thing was blown out of proportion is somewhat accurate. We have two punks riding around talking about what that they are going to do. I doubt the one pictured (male or female?) could hold a Desert Eagle up for more than 5 seconds without breaking a sweat.

I usually don't say this sort of thing, and I certainly don't condone the rape of any person, no matter what crimes they may have committed, but this kid is definitely going to be raped in prison. By big black dudes, among others.

Scrawny, baby-faced male I think. Side boob shows pecs, not boobage. I suppose it could be a really manly girl. Looks like a good opportunity for a motivational poster.
