My guess is 1. it was not Virginia and 2. Since it is just mike and John.. long gone are the days of explanation.. they are just gonna do things as they need to or see fit.

Is it not ok to post such an article to express condolences in this forum? I mean we have gun shows here, we recently discussed having loaded firearms at gun shows, we often talk about firearms training.

Does something have to actually occur in Virginia before we can discuss it here?

That would appear to be the case. I suppose that lets folks from other states who don't visit here know about it.

This incident didn't take place at a gun show.

There are different forums for a reason. It's irritating to view new posts, only to find the same story repeated in every state's forum. News items should be posted in the state where they happened, and if they're of national importance, they should be split off into the appropriate national forum.

That's pretty much what the owners do, and I agree with them.

And I agree with Mr. Craig.

You have time to read every forum?**

All I read on a daily basis is the Virginia forum and the General Discussions forum.
It's called the "recent posts" button.

I can't imagine having time to just read the most recent posts in every forum.

    People do this every day?
    apparently :P
