Is this a good deal or a bad deal

Is this a good deal on a gun? Is this a good gun? Is it worth the price? I really am thinking about upping my firepower from shotguns and pistols to something like this. I have guns that tell criminals to leave me alone, I don't have a gun that tells my government to leave me alone. Is this something to consider? Here's the link.

Warning: I don't have an AK. But, anybody knows that an AK is scary looking, VERY reliable, reasonably cheap to shoot, has plenty of punch for human sized targets, and though not usually very accurate, easily accurate enough for home defense, etc. People say that Century rifles appear to be built by drunken monkeys but the AK is specifically designed to be built by drunken monkeys and most of the AK's they sell are just straight imports from some old Warsaw pact country anyway.

The price is unremarkable. Lots of people sell AK's so it's easy to shop around. For a start try:

Oh, and my personal opinion is that if you want to shoot 7.62X39 but don't care so much about looking scary or magazine capacity a Yugo SKS is cheaper and usually more accurate. I am currently thinking about buying a semi-auto rifle and will probably buy an SKS or an AR-15.

In my opinion......That one is over priced. Should be around $300 for a single stack mag. I have a SAR1 (7.62x39)and a SAR2 (5.45x39)that were bought or traded for about $300.

They are NOT tack drivers and shouldn't be considered for anything over 200 yards. Man sized targets, yes.

They have a COOL factor and are a lot of fun. The 5.45x39 (AK 74) ammo is a good deal right now and is the Rusian equvalent to our AR15 ammo (5.56x45).:D

It's a HORRIBLE deal. Way overpriced for a WASR-10. This is also a single stack model, which does not accept standard inexpensive AK mags without doing some modification. You can get a decent RPK for that price.

check http://www.classicarms.us/ for an idea of what decent prices look like. And they're in your state.

Who cares if it comes with two mags? it's still overpriced by at least $100. You can get AK mags for under ten bucks each if you shop around. I have fifty of them.
