The
NRA Range <http://www.nrahq.org/shootingrange/nrahqrange/> is generously sponsoring a Veterans Day event on Veterans Day, Tuesday, November 11, from 5 to 8 p.m. with the help of the following NRA divisions: Law Enforcement, Competition, Education + Training, and the Museum.

Soldiers and veterans will shoot free of charge. Thanks to local vendors and our very own NRA Cafe, we will be offering refreshments in the range classroom. Several General Operations divisions and
U.S. Peacekeeper <http://www.uspeacekeeper.com/> have donated items for attendance prizes.

§
Tell any Veterans or Active-Duty military personnel you know about the event. RSVP required; Danielle at dsturgis@nrahq.org <mailto:dsturgis@nrahq.org> or (703)267-1393.

Thanks! Never forget.

RSVP is required and it is capped at a certain number.

No problem....

I helped out with the last one whichwas for the wounded warriors at Walter Reed IIRC. Ammo was provided by manufactures, and they had everyting from .22- .308 and really expensive F-Class 6mm's. I ran a point with some class III stuff and it was really neat.

Do you guy's have the new Mircotech MSAR carbines (that use Glock magazines)in pistol calibers?

I'm dying to try the one in (you guessed it) 10mm.
It is on the top of my Christmas list.

I already have a 10mm carbine but was looking to add a new one.

I wanted to shoot this one before purchasing, especially if someone else is footing the bill.:D

I saw a cartoon depiction of the MSAR inShooting Illustratedthat was going to take the 9mm mags. I did just go to MSARinc.com and there is no mention of the guns. So I wouldn't hold your breath.

They had them @ the S.H.O.T show.
Afriend who snapped a pic of one and got to handle the samples (9mm & 45)
The Rep said they would be releasing them late 08 or early 09 in 9, 40, 45 & 10 and they use Glock mags.

Won't hold my breath butwill patiently wait.
