We can sit and make post after post about who just got elected, and that's not going to solve anything. The GOP as a whole took it on the chin tonight and we have to get involved and the way to start is locally. People like us, that want to see the party get back to Goldwater style libertarianism need to do it and start doing it locally. That's where it all starts. Below is a link to the VA Beach GOP, they have a breakfast 8AM every Saturday morning at the Crowne Plaza on Bonney Road and there meetings are the second Monday of every month 7PM at the VA Beach library on VA Beach Blvd. The way it works is you join the city commitee in the city you live in. So anyone want to get involved in VA Beach here's the link below.

I'm done with work, I am just going to sit back and allow the "one" to take care of me.

It is more than that, we have to be even more vigilant in writing our worthless congressman.

Lets pray Warner and Webb stick up and at least pretend to be the "pro gun" people they claimed.

There IS an upside though.

In 2010, there are 34 Senate seats up, 14 of them are Democratic.

All of congress is up again. Congress does NOT want to lose - so in reality I don't see a whole lot changing in 2 years. There will not be the same kinds of turn outs for the Liberal side as was this election. We *HOPEFULLY* have that going for us!
