Ok here are 4 of the top radio stations for the Metro PLex. One for every catagory there. 99.5 The Wolf, 106.1 Kiss FM, 97.1 The Eagle, and 94.9 KLTY.

Don't forget to consider the demographics. I'm sure you will of course, just saying... you want to make sure you target the audience that you feel will be the most beneficial for the buck... I would assume off the top of my head that would be people who are probably already friendly to the cause, but just need to know about it, and the efforts going on there.

No need to spend high dollars on the "largest audience" if that audience would not be helpful to the effort.

Do not forget the AM stations. I listen to WBAP 820 daily all day.

Here's the lineup for that station:

Code:
12:00AM 5:00AM The Midnight Trucking Radio Network
5:00AM 8:30AM The WBAP Morning News
8:30AM 10:45AM The Mark Davis Show
10:45AM 11:00AM Paul Harvey
11:00AM 2:00PM Rush Limbaugh
2:00PM 5:00PM Sean Hannity
5:00PM 7:00PM Mark Levin
7:00PM 10:00PM Laura Ingraham
10:00PM 12:00AM The Jerry Doyle Show

Probably some of the most expensive air time out there, but I bet you'd get a good response from the Sean Hannity drive-time listeners... Maybe try to catch some of the Rush crowd at lunch too.

I am not trying to be pessimistic, but has anyone thought about how much our odds decreased of getting open carry passed, now that HALF of Texas politicians just elected are democrats?

Mark Davis is also a very pro-gun guy. I'm a bit out of WBAP territory during daylight hours (unless I use my SRIII and angle it juuuust right), but I do try to catch his nationally syndicated weekly show.

Can you explain?

The figures I've seen are that the 2009 Legislature will be composed of 74 Democrats and 76 Republicans. This might look close, but it's a net gain for the Democrats of only 3 seats.

I didn't look around a whole lot over there but the response seemed very positive, with at least one inquiry about other billboards. Maybe you could post a link back to to the fund-raising effort here for the I-35 billboard.

I went to the Conroe Gun Show, I couldn't believe how high the prices were, nothing like GRB.

Does Lufkin, Tx. still have their Gun Show?

I hate to admit that the only Open Carry event I've attended was in Virginia. There is a Texas forumn on here that you can check for updates on things at the state level. Sounds like it might be time to round up some people around here and have a meeting :)
