November OC meetup? when, where?

well, for one, magicman is jonesin' for a meetup this month (FYI, start your own thread; that's what the forum is for!). i think once a month or so is good for all of us, considering the soon to be political climate, which will be most likely against guns and gun owners.

What do you all think? Should it be a resturant? Cabela's again? Some other place? Throw out ideas. maybe some range time at Deb's in hammond (do they offer group rates on weekends?) holidays get tough with family commitments, but i'd be up for another meeting/status report. maybe we should make a rough agenda like introductions, discussion on legislation (if needed), dicussion on political climate (if needed), how to get involved, etc.

maybe we should consolidate our efforts since its almost a gaurantee that gun rights will be limited in the coming months/years.

Now is time to get everyone ready to write letters, make phone calls, send faxes and emails. postcards, rallies THE WORKS!

I've been busy and not been on for a couple weeks.

FWIW We did the last OC at the IHOP in Hobart/Merriville. Turned out 9 ppl, 7 of which didn't go to the Cabelas OC meetup.

The Indiana Gun Owners board had quite the turn out!

Perhaps something for the beginning of December? Having at least 8 days notice will help increase the turn out as well.

I'll be at the next meet,must protect our rights or lose them.South Bend leo's frown on open carry,but usually become ok once they see that I can state the law,

If anyone else could get a meet-up together, that would be GREAT. :celebrate

WE will MEET-UP at the resturant in FLYING-J'S truck- stop.

It is on GRANT ST. EXIT off 80-94 on GRANT ST. SOUTH....

1Block....!!! It's only about 15 minutes from Hammond in

the East direction from Hammond. Park on the South

side of the main store truck-stop..... Nice resturant with

a ALL you can eat S-BOARD....and more!!! Plus they

have a little off to the side room with 4 round tables

in it....If WE want to use it!! Date....Time....

Sat... DEC. 13th................2:00pm. :D:D:D

Hi, i just find out how far it was from me. It's 21/2 hours from me, sorry i might not make it, it's to far...now if you said it was need Indianapolis it would be great sorry............
