VCDL Meeting/OC Dinner - Weds, Nov 19 @ 7:30

There is a VCDL meeting at the Lafayette Gun Club, 331 Dare Road, Yorktown, VA on Wednesday, Nov 19th at 7:30PM.

Board member Dennis O'Connor will run the meeting, which will be a post-election wrap-up.

This is a great chance to learn more about VCDL, meet other gun owners, and take a gander at the Lafayette Gun Club!

As with all VCDL membership meetings, it is open to the public, so bring family, friends, and coworkers!

It's off I-64 Exit 258-B onto Rt 17 North then after about 5 miles make a right onto Dare Road. After the meeting there will be a group going to a local restaurant.

Being from the southside, I had no idea where Grafton was but MapQuest indiciated it was only about 33 miles/45 mins from Portsmouth, so I still plan on going.

Kevin if you have ever been to one of our dinners at The County Grill in York Co. it's just a few miles farther up the road towards Yorktown. When you see Washington Square shopping center Turn right just past the Hardee's, that is Dare Rd.

Ha Ha - that didn't take too long :D. Actually I was bumping it to the top and decided to be the grouchy old man that I am... We'll be there tonight (with your shirt) as long as there ain't no snow on the ground :exclaim::exclaim::exclaim:. I know how to drive in it, but too many others around here don't....

Sorry I didn't join y'all for the dinner afterwards.

I had already eaten dinner with the family, and stayed after at LGC talking to a couple of friends for a few minutes. Next thing I knew my wife was calling woundering why it was 11:45 and I still wasn't home!
