Many Michigan County court houses allow guns in the building but not in the court rooms as was the intent of the rule. The anti-gun counties are the ones that don't allow guns in the building using the ruling as an excuse.

If a county building is not a court then guns are allowed due to the preemption law. County jails are a gray area.
